Definitely check it out if you've finished Tobira and want to get more into actual reading but still need some structure and guidance. That said though, Satori is an amazing refining tool and has made me much more confidant in Japanese. I feel like kinda remembering that something was a thing and having your memory jogged is more helpful than not being introduced to it at all. Overall, I am still glad I powered through the textbooks before trying Satori because there's a fair amount of things I would need to look up if I didn't. The other nice thing about Satori is that you run into up a lot of incidental grammar points that are maybe too bullshitty and small to be worth devoting a section to in a textbook and kind of fall to the side, especially when more casual grammar is involved. Lion Satori is an excellent, brilliant reader, he picked up on my situation immediately without asking questions. So over the last year and a half or so I went through the Genki 1/Genki 2/ Tobira path for grammar and while it did lay a foundation, I often found myself struggling to read most of the actual readings.
